My Vision for Fresno
As a Fresno native, and a father of two daughters, I care deeply about the future of Fresno. That’s why I am running for City Council, District 2.
Public safety is my top priority. That’s why I strongly support improving and modernizing our 911 system and public safety communications, to help connect our police officers and firefighters to each other and to surrounding public safety agencies.
We also must create new jobs and improve business conditions in Fresno. I will cut bureaucratic red tape that gets in the way of people starting new businesses and expanding existing businesses. I will only support spending that is fiscally responsible. And I will work to change the culture of the City to support job creation and successful businesses.
Finally, we must address the crisis of homelessness in our community. Homeless residents deserve to be treated with dignity, but with that dignity comes a responsibility to respect the rights of others. We must find creative solutions as a community to provide shelter and help transition the homeless back into society.
